In the first quarter of 2025, the photo and video app category in Greece experienced notable trends across the top five apps on the unified platform. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showed varying patterns in downloads, revenue, and active users.

YouTube had a peak in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $82K in late February. Downloads showed a steady decline throughout the quarter, starting from 6.7K and dropping to around 2K by the end of March. The app maintained a robust active user base, fluctuating around 6.6M.

FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor saw weekly revenue peak at $23K in late February, while downloads varied, peaking at 2.6K in late March. Active users started at 15.3K and decreased to 12.8K by the end of the quarter.

CapCut - Video Editor experienced a boost in weekly revenue, reaching $25K in mid-February. Downloads showed a significant increase mid-March, climbing to 22K. Active users remained steady around 460K.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor had a gradual rise in revenue, peaking at $13K by the end of March. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching 7K. Active users hovered around 50K throughout the quarter.

Google Photos: Backup & Edit showed a steady weekly revenue trend, peaking at $9.8K in late February. Downloads steadily decreased, ending the quarter just below 2K. Active users remained strong, averaging around 1.3M.
